Aren't milk and juice cartons wax coated? Are these recyclable?
Years ago, milk cartons and juice cartons were coated with wax. Almost all carton now are coded with a plastic substance replacing the use of wax. The way you can tell is to scratch the curtain with your fingernail. If you get a collection of wax under your fingernail, then it is not recyclable. Most likely it will not scrape off easily, and therefore is plastic, and can be recycled.
